The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride

The 2020 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is still going ahead [link]!!

Ahem! Gents – we need to have a conversation about … errr … about your prostate. And Ladies … if you know a chap who needs a conversation, or you want to ride in support of chaps with challenges … read on:

Prostate cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in men.

The focus of the The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is on gentlemen who have been dealt a tough hand in life. In particular, the aim is to raise funds for cutting-edge research into prostate cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention programs, as part of their mission is to support men’s health globally. These funds are invested by the Movember Foundation, which is the world’s largest men’s health organisation.

More details of the 2020 DGR can be found here [link]. In keeping with the classic lines of Don Draper’s 1957 Matchless G3LS, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is a niche charity event held upon the last Sunday in September with dapper ladies and gentlemen riding their Cafe Racer, Bobber, Classic, Tracker, Scrambler, Old School Chopper, Modern Classic, Sidecar, Classic Scooter, Brat Styled motorcycles to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health programs.

This year there will be a DGR from Rhyl – details are here, but you’ll need to register through this link:
